Cinnamon Rolls

Ooey gooey cinnamon rolls still warm from the oven is another favourite of mine to eat. I don’t make them very often, but whenever they pop into my head, they’re all I can think about until I actually whip up a batch.
A very good thing it is then, that they are so easy to make.
I’ve made them many times over the years but I stumbled on a particular recipe and was intrigued by the unusual (for me) ingredient that was added immediately pre-baking that is, ever so slightly warmed heavy cream!
And oh my goodness, WOW, they came out really, really superb. Moist, sticky, gooey and delicious was the result. Peep the perfection below!

I did have a little trouble with the dough, as the directions say it should be tacky but not so sticky it gets all over your hands. I had to modify slightly by adding an extra half cup of flour after turning it out onto a slightly floured surface and kneading for about three minutes before it looked smooth and elastic as the recipe says it should. But after that, it went well.
The filling was tricky to spread but nothing that a little patience couldn’t conquer. Here are pics of my steps (I won’t post the recipe here as it’s not my own, but you can click the link below for the deets):

So SOOO good! I promise you! If you are a cinnamon roll lover, this is an easy, excellent recipe to try.
